Dan Davies is the founder and for 20 years, publisher of Business Leader magazine. In this capacity, he is both a leader and a student of leadership. Through his writings, interviews, business forums, and community involvement, he has come to intimately know and become a confidant of many of the region's top business, educational, and governmental leaders.

His curiosity and drive to understand leadership at the deepest level has unexpectedly led him down the path of studying neuroscience. Three plus years of research has allowed him to understand the science behind behavioral science.  He not only knows what leader behaviors are effective, but why they are effective.

As a practitioner, student, and teacher of leadership, Dan brings a knowledge and perspective to our seminars and workshops that are unique in the behavioral science field.

Leadership is about changing minds. How does one human being behave, act, and interact with another in such a way as to cause them to have a change of mind?  How are people persuaded?  By what are we influenced? In this half or full day seminar, participants will learn how to read and lead their followers and discover how intuitively adept they currently are.

Language is unique to human beings. Words have a profound effect upon speaker and listener,   writer and reader. Words can make or break a career, cement or destroy a relationship. In this inspirational 30 to 40 minute keynote or after dinner talk, audience members will develop a deep appreciation and understanding of how their use of words affects their lives and the lives of those around them, and how an aware use of words can enrich lives.

Leadership is inevitable. We continually demonstrate our core leadership beliefs. To reach one’s potential, leaders must learn to recognize and thoughtfully go beyond their habitual beliefs to address current and future leadership challenges. This advanced leadership approach based in the book John and Dan are currently writing is not for the weak of heart, but for those who want to transform their organizations and their lives.  This talk has significant implications for global, cross-cultural, and multi-national leadership.
